Which trends should you invest in?
The February issue of People StyleWatch, on sale now, previews the season’s best new fashion and beauty looks.
“Here are some of my favorite trends we’re spying for spring,” says the magazine’s Fashion Director Kate Dimmock…
“The romantic look will be strong this spring,” says Kate. “Look for lots of lace, embroidery and ladylike twists like peplums and ruffles.”
“Another fashion trend will be skinny pleats (as seen on Hailee Steinfeld, pictured). This is a delicate pleat with thin lines. It’s very feminine and girly with its soft fabrics and loose fit.”
“Our favorite Celeb Launch: SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker. It’s her first shoe collection and there are loads of feminine styles and flirty heels. Very sexy!”
Some beauty trends to look out for include blue eye makeup, metallic nails and orange lips! Look for blue shades for eye makeup like aqua or cobalt for a very modern twist.
Accessory trends we are loving: mules! Slide on wedges are back but now in a variety of prints, materials and a mix of colors.
